First shakedown cruise with my ASP Explorer out of the bubble starting from Falitabozo-System, with no particular destination. Managed to find a fully unexplored system about 15 jumps out, nothing special really, apart from a gas giant with waterbased life and two pairs of icy double-moons around it maybe. But my first nametags are set, tomorrow I'm heading out for my first long range exploration trip.

Just re-positioned my Python "Trust to Rust" to Maia. I have access to Palin (and I'm allied with the Maia controlling faction) and need to grab some selenium and tin. I'm going with the theory that all you need for an engineer can be found in their home system, thought it might be a useful experiment.

I'm also taking a punt on the 21 April event, I may end up being ahead of the game.....or not :-)

Well that went well. :-)

Maia A2B, good mix of outcrops including metallic meteorites. Lots of hard to gets (not R or VR - just sparse) also rares and very rares. Moby, Tin, Chromium, Technium, Tellurium and Selenium. Also iron, nickel, zinc (zinc - which I have had trouble finding in the past). I now have G5 Clean Drives for the Python.

However, just to make sure I don't get a full house, I forgot to put the FdL's thrusters (or any other ships thrusters) into storage before setting off. So, a leisurely trip back to SD is required....I shall enjoy the view.

Hope this helps.

Crashing to desktop and having all sorts of weird instancing issues. In other words, doing the part of the Ram Tah Alien Ruins mission that needs to be done in Open/PG. Still beats loop trading, business passenger missions, or board flipping at Ceos/Sothis to get trade elite.
