I decided to try and make HP58832 but ended up not being able to go any farther. Heck I thought I’d be ok with a ~65Ly jump range. Now heading for Barnard’s Loop area for the first time. I love this Guardian FSD booster.


Since I play exclusively in VR I think I’ve been missing out by not having an ASP explorer. That cockpit is calling my name so I think that’s my next “Mission”.

Are there any favorite spots or starports in the Orion/Barnard’s Loop area I should check out? And for the life of me, where is the mapping for screenshot hidden? I’m using the customizable HUD mod and I can’t use F12 anymore for Elite. I remapped it in Steam to the number pad “-“ sign but it wont work in ED.

Thats a very good tip!

Forwarding that foundation here is a old tip, but one I would humbly recommend -

Install atleast 1 Point Defense Module on the Top of your Vessel when exploring the Guardian Ruins.

If you ensure that you land your Ship Close to the runis, when the Guardian Drones start throwing Missiles at you the Point Defense shoots those missiles down very quickly... meaning you only have to dodge / evade / tank their laser blasts

Decided to head straight to Lembava and got my Asp X. I have been missing out on the cockpit view. And turning over my shoulder I can see a ladder down to the lower compartment. The detail in this game...Reminds me of my Mamba in VR. I now get all the love for the ASP. I’m parked in Deciat, engineered and with my Guardian FSD booster wondering what to do next.

I've been away for nearly 2 years.
Started playing again, loving it.
Got my anaconda, busy farming mats to engineer it.
I'm back in one of our home systems exioce.
Also working on my combat rating still novice but melting bounties at the moment

I went with overcharged on the mcs rez sights are fun!
I'm finding srvs a bit challenging to control, managed to farm some mats of various planets.

Do you guys only play in the mobius groups or open game as well?
