Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I'm down in Barangali it is spitting out USS a dozen at a time all different types not a human commander seen here all day.

I'm now currently exploring extensive unexplored neutron star fields, about 2,000LY from Colonia. Tons of Herbig Ae/Be's here as well.

I was void opal mining to buff my funds, but now Im off in my krait to swat some scouts. Not seen many cmdrs about recently, I assume theyre all off on dw2.

Yesterday, again this morning we (2wings) Cutter, FDL and Annie 2 rigged for Cargo all "A" (Rated/Eng 2 minutes more to put some speed on At the other side same thing. A little reading post determines that we were not alone and thinks is an old Ticket (2017)

Created a Ticket not positive that it should be solved but BGS is receiving negativity.

I'm getting back to my standard MO, which means killing off my own hired crew.

I'm currently stationed in HIP 23395, fighting solo in the AX CZ near Jett Station. I was getting tired of my "Dangerous" crew member Hassan Fisher telling me that he couldn't carry out my orders, so I switched out the hangar bay for another HRP.

In my next trip out, I got zapped by an Interceptor because I had re-arranged my fire groups and took too long to fire up my Shutdown Field Neutralizer. When power was restored, I was down to about 30% hull, which wasn't enough to allow me to jump out of the system. My Krait II "Katya" (named after a previous deceased crew member) was done.

After staring at the rebuy screen, I thought "well, at least Hassan survived, since I conveniently left him at the station this time". However, it turns out that I didn't send him off to the Crew Lounge when I removed the hangar bay, so he was apparently sitting below decks minding his own business when the ship exploded around him.

He joins the growing list of crew members who died in my employ:

I'm currently at about 72% from Combat Deadly to Elite. I keep telling myself that I'm going to go off an engineer my Krait II to be a little more focused on AX combat, but whenever I sit down to play I decide I would rather go fight than spend time doing that. Unless I go off and do the engineering legwork, I will continue to (try to) run away from Interceptors.

Currently cruising round the LHS 246 Bohmshohm area running trade routes saving up for a decent build of an Asp X

Tried my luck at CZ today. I haven't tried any combat since the chapter 4 update.
In short.. i found it harder and even less lucrative than before (even if money is not why you go to a CZ..).
Those elite wings are a pain in the butt, and io guess you need some rank before your weapons do anything. I blew up a few on dumb ships like Asps, but ended up dancing with a python for 30 minutes, using all my ammo, all my SCBs and having to bail out with him at 8% hull.

I guess i'll try them in 2 or 3 years when i'll have moved up one combat rank, at the current rate lol (yay for 1% rank increase in one hour..)

CZ have gotten a lot tougher since 3.3. A low CZ is pretty chill for a player running solo, but a medium can be VERY challenging solo and is a bit scrappy even for a wing of two commanders in engineered ships. Don't get me started on the challenges of a high CZ.

Well, for fully optimized combat G5 engineered ship, high CZ isn't exactly hard, even for solo. Plus SLF NPC at Dangerous or so can be a great help there. Though game having so huge focus and generally being balanced around engineers isn't best idea, IMO. Power gap is way too large between G5 and non-engineered vessel atm...

For quick combat rank, best way hands down, is just to equip some C3 AX MCs and go to AX CZ to kill Scouts. Been doing it recently quite a lot, got my rank up (and my co-pilots') in no time.
