I wasn't aware that this had changed in 2.4 with being able to synth heatsinks. Maybe I should read the patch notes, sometime?
I'll have to check when I am next back in the Asp to see whether I have all the materials. I'm currently about 130 jumps from Colonia (started at around ~340) so maybe it's best just to turn all this data in anyway

Doing that i simply do not take heatsinks anymore as i can faceplant into stars, and jump back without overheating at all.

For the life of me, I cannot remember what powerplant I put into the ship. Good to know though. I'm quite certain that the powerplant isn't engineered as I do remember trying to unlock Felicity in Deciat, however at the time I couldn't find any meta-alloys so gave up. All I wanted to do at the time was explore away from the bubble so I left.

Getting rich, trying to get 4 billion credits before the mining runs out.

Currently I'm slowly making my way toward the first Engineer's position. I keep getting sidetracked doing missions that take me in the wrong direction. I need to buckle down and just make it the rest of the way. I'd like to partake in DW2 but probably am not prepared yet with just a Cobra and 2 million credits. As it seems this Engineer is in space controlled by Lavigny-Duval, which I know is the controlling power in Order of Mobius space, perhaps I'll find OoM systems and help out while other commanders are off on the exploration adventure. I also want to spend more time driving the SRV and exploring planets!

Flying out toward the Soul Nebula - via the 'bottom' of the galaxy - about 950Ly 'down' from galactic plane where the stars are getting a bit thin. Next stop is the Formadine Rift to also seek out Lore. Keeping a look out for NSP's and Geo on the way.

Ranking Explorer, for that I joined DW:2 and hope to reach Elite before the end of the tour.

This happened today.



I was surprised when I noticed a system in the bubble had 11 bodies not mapped before. Quickly found a place to buy the hardware I needed and got to firing off the probes.

Also today, I found my way into Order of Mobius space. Think I'll try to help out for a bit.

My hands are finally back to where I can play. Finished my rebuild with the 9900k last night, and installed E:D today. Can't wait to get back in game. About to grab my HOTAS and pedals and get to it.

Is there anything major that I should know of from the past 2 years?
