I call it being realistic.
And the "Ooh shiny, what's over there?" looses it's luster once you realise that apart from the few name features it's all the same, not even a handful different, art assets recycled.

You have the pink bubble, the blue bubble and black hourglass shaped, seen them Before, Yawn.
Now where can I kill something?

I like explosions.

Now I consider the new exploration mechanics much better than before, then again I would call that 'exploration' in name only.

I fairly quickly got to grips with the new FSS, this is quite handy for kill missions and finding the mission uss on jump in norbjust finding planets.
But often it's faster to scan the nav beacon.

In case you don't know. Scanning a nav beacon now reveals and updated ALL USS's in system.
Be they 10ls away of two million ls.

This holiday ibahve mostly been running various surface scan missions and also learned how to do the detail surface mapping to the point I now get most planets mapped with a probe or two spare from the efficiency target.
And that's with a stock scanner.
I put a fully upgraded one on my clipper if I want to take a trip.

You can tell Tor has too much time on his hands and is sober. Never once did he mention Blowing up in a Buggy or shooting friends in their face, or ramming their buggy with a fighter.

After a few months of not really giving a shit about the game I've started getting back into it through the medium of blowing up asteroids. I like the new mining and I like the profit.

I need to get round to fixing the ScreenShotChanger and then I imagine there will be a shed load of disk space used with lovely explosion shots!

I have just joined Mobius, so Hi . Should've joined a long time ago as I love exploration and PvE.

Anyway, what am I doing now? Just coming back from the galactic core - went to see Sag A*, Annihilator and plenty of Type B, A, Ae/Be and neutron stars. I'm flying an Asp Explorer and currently have 1 heatsink left due to jumping into a close-trinary with two type-B stars practically touching each other - and I jumped in between them (the third star was a K if memory serves but I was too busy changing underwear). Close call and as I have one 'sink left, I think it's time I head back to Colonia to repair, and make adjustments to the ship. I've been away from the bubble for over a year so would rather turn all this data in than lose it all.

You know you can synthesise heatsinks ?
Gotta check it out, not at the pc rightnow .... you'll need materials (recipe) to do it.

another possibility is to equip your ship with an A class powerplant (already low heat generation) that has some extra power you don't really need, and then engineer it for low emission.

Doing that i simply do not take heatsinks anymore as i can faceplant into stars, and jump back without overheating at all.

Worth testing

I’ve now finally got to double Elite. Only combat to go and that one I’m Deadly +50% so I’m back in Azrael and ready to fight where needed
