And that's the very next thing I did :)

Also my exploration fit clipper gets 46 ly now.
That I find acceptable, might be what I need to finally bother knocking out that last rank.

If anyone wonders, and I at first didn't realise.

The list in the broker is not per module.
It's there to unlock access to the module.
And for the FSD booster, just unlocking it once means I can buy as many of any class I see fit from regular outfitting.

Well worth the little hop out, and I found all the bits I needed in about an hour, and a lot of that was spent figuring out how to actually turn the machine on.

And not to mention, for someone who enjoys the SRV and combat from the turret view, the Guardian skimmers are fun as hell, and they keep re spawning :D

Ah well, one day maybe, if the stars and the moon phase are right, they'll get it to work properly :)

I'll grind some blueprints for that day.

I was under the impression that a engineered for range grade 5 fsd was better, or am I misinformed/has that changed?

It's not an FSD itself, it's a booster module. It increases your FSD range by certain amount.

Yeah, you have your base FSD with it all its engineered goodies, this is an optional module and based on class it gives a flat LY increase in jumprange, applied after all other modifiers. Possibly ignored for neutron boost, I'm not entirely sure.

Class 5 = 10ly
Class 4 = 9ly
Class 3 = 8ly
Class 2 = 6ly
Class 1 = 4ly

for instance with my Corvette this has been fully engineered and gets a range of 20ly, smack this puppy in and that's becomes a straight 30.
So the better your range is the better it will be.

For instance you can get an exploration fit DBX nearly up to 70ly https://s.orbis.zone/y6ergGtu
Require a lot of lightweighting, but it is possible :)
Heck, it should be possible to get an Anaconda to nearly 80ly jump with this https://s.orbis.zone/5CDV6bBZ

And as I mentioned, the part list in the broker is to unlock the module option in outfitting.
So you get the bits and unlock in the broker, I can then buy as many modules of any size I want for credits in outfitting.
If memory serves it was about 6 mil for the class 5, but I was either in lhs 20 or Shinrarta.
Yes LHS 20 has both the broker and the module for sale when you unlock.

Nice. I'm confused I'm coriolis, I see the effects been applied but it's not taking up an internal slot?

Is any of the other guardian tech worth while?

You have to use the beta version of coriolis
.
Could be that doesn't cary over with the short links.
Just add "beta." in front of the address in coriolis.

Update.
The links should be working.
The mods are somehow set to offline, but the stats are the same.
I assume beta?

In game the module need to be online and it can be a smidge power hungry.

Just finished Engineering my Krait II, got to agree with Tor on this, great ship, my current favourite. This is the sort of ship ED has needed, a go anywhere do anything multipurpose that can have all the features, even the cockpit looks like a proper working environment.

This ship has re-peaked my interest in ED.

Same

I just made it to combat Master with it after spending the whole of 2018 at 93% expert.

Even sold my useless Clipper to get a second Krait fitted for exploration with a decent jump range of like 53ly. I now realize i should sell the Python too since it's pretty much useless now.

I have kept my clipper for exploration.

I just love how it flies in SC compared to the other main explorers.
The conda makes me want to pull my hair out.
The asp x, is honestly a bit boring. The dbx kind of makes me feel claustrophobic.

The clipper is nice though, and with the booster I get the clipper up over 45ly And that's perfectly fine.
And it got that class 7 scoop.
