Kinda Forest Gumped my way toward Beagle. Now I'm 24,000ly away from BP. Of course there's the trip back....ugh. I've considered making it a one way trip maybe not. Lots of good data :D

I have spent some time updating the engineering on a few of my ships.

Chiefly the vulture and corvette.

And it almost feels as if I found a couple of cheat codes.

New lvl5 efficient beams with thermal vent in the vette, and I can fire them permanently with 4 pips to weps.
The vent is so well that if I am hitting a big ship like a conda my heat levels reach 0%.

Also new DD lvl5 with drag drives.
Means the vulture hits 560ms in boost, that's with armour, heavy shields (906mj bi weave) and two class 3 beams.

The corvette only reaches a boost speed of 380ms..
The slow poke..
In truth though, I have had to reduce how many times I boost in approach to a station after wards.

Yesterday I accidently Shield of Justice at CG HazRES and now, at 2:30 am, sitting at the outpost with 5000 bounty and 1 notoriety, unable to neither pay off nor collect bounties, hoping that 29 MCr still counts for top 10% when CG ends tomorrow...

Returning from a 5000ly trip to the Jellyfish Nebula to unlock Palin. Regular 57+ly jumps is making quick work of it. I'm definitely enjoying engineering (not RNGineering) the second time around.

Just switch ships until notoriety drops.

Finally found pharmaceutical isolators after 4 days of searching for these...
Love that "value gameplay".. Flying in a straight line in outbreak systems certainly is entertaining.

At least, that Vulture paperweight is now somewhat of a useable ship now :) But i'm done with ED for a moment..

I decided to give my Vette "Fjodor Dostojewski" another try, but first engineering must be finished. I suddenly realized, that I don't have enough materials, so I stuffed cargo bay with limpets and went to HazRES. Some may say "grind", but I trained my pilot from Harmless to Expert and made myself another couple of percents towards Deadly (not to mention bounty rewards). With help of INARA and Material Traders I don't need to farm rare materials, large amounts of lo-grades are fine too.

I was leaving Wayermann LLC when I saw CMDR Archibald38555 in his Cutter on nearby landing pad. Took a photo.Image

Great Photo - heavy fire power there. Shoot and scoop your own Combat Aftermath.
