Me.....I just done it as a break from normal and because I could.......A distraction one might say.....
Being in a wing and working together made it even easier.......
You start worrying about any rank in either form......Deadly....Elite etc it becomes a grind.........
I just do what I wanna do and if shit happens it does.......
Well, i have been wanting to get a cutter for quite a while for my cargo runs, but... i tend to do like you do, play the game at my pace, and let things happen.. thing is, they don't happen.
After 2 years, i was only squire in the empire, and only because i did grind one day for the Courrier. The rank increases in a stupidly slow way if you don't grind. In real time it would have taken me about 5 or 6 years to get that cutter... doesn't help that i do not dwell in imperial space it's true..
Anyway, grinding, and seeing the ranks jump like pop corn on a frying pan was pretty exciting in itself, mostly after having done the proper grind for the corvette... (this particular grind made me sell it because now that ship is attached to horrible gaming memories.. worst than my two months in WOW.. yes...)
