I haven't played (anything) in months. Just cleared my save again. Back in a starter Sidey in some random system I don't know where. Named the ship The Wayback Machine and I'm 'me' again. No intention to play again anytime soon. I really hope they make this game interesting again.

I have a Python, but don't think I've ever taken the time to get DD engineered into it. It currently turns like an arthritic turtle.
At the moment I have about 400M CR, so I have enough to buy the Corvette but only really scratch the surface for outfitting.
I have 3 ships (AspX, Python, FdL) but don't really want to sell any of them right now. So, I have the choice of buying the Corvette and flying it with an underwhelming loadout, or jumping into my FdL and going on a killing spree to add funds...

Sweating on the inside. I'm driving a bus filed with people towards Smeaton Orbital (by 'bus' I mean Type 7 with laughable starter weapons and upgraded systems), payoff is over 60 M, and almost every transport contract I've taken has "Hostile ships may be sent against you". In the first five minutes I've had 3 separate offers to sell those people into slavery. I'm guessing that these guys won't react well to my "fuck you and have a nice day" reply so now I'm waiting for the inevitable interdiction.

Finished the day yesterday with 2 merchant rank upgrades (Trade Tycoon atm), raised my money reserves from 60-ish to 400 million. Now I'm going back to the grinder, see if I can get to Merchant Elite.
