Yeah, windows update are silently starting to push the nvidia 388.13 drivers.,

This is absolute shit for VR.
Also, If you have the fall update going on it will LOCK Elite to 60fps even in VR.

This is just horrible.

And I was planning to look for Vive on the black friday.. So the fall update fps lock might be avoided with the instructions on the other forum, but why are the 388.13 drivers a bad thing?

They are just bugged for VR. They have released the 388.31 last week, which so far seem fine.

Another problem is MS update is now happy to "fix your drivers for you" and they are a version or so behind at BEST, but them being MS are sure they KNOW BEST, not sure it has been happening with Nvidia drivers but there has been a few cases where you install a new fresh driver from the manufacturer and windows update goes "Yeah but I have this other driver, it must be better, let's use that instead"..

Sounds very annoying. Hopefully there is some sort of workaround for it.. needs a bit of googling.

43kly out now, with only the voices in my head and the strange noises from the hold for company.

Currently grinding for federal rank around Tun, its a long and slow process and not earning me as much as i'd hoped. Starting to question my judgment because I couldn't currently afford to A rate a corvette even if i did make the rank to buy one!

Might have to take a break and come back to it another time because i'm itching to go exploring in my trusty AspX (called Dave) again, especially after reading the above posts about colonia and sagA!

So now for a different kind of grind to get the materials to engineer my fsd to 5 rating and i'll be off! Hopefully without the strange noises coming from the hold!

Following the yellow brick road to Azrael (to see what all the fuss is about). Will there be a wizard??
