Lori blew out my powerplant.....Blew out my life support........Knocked my Shield gen down to 28%....FSD down to 2% and a few others with 2 shots......

Some of these engineered weapons are dangerous.......

But cut the scan distance down to 2Km.....With a scan time of about 3 secs......

No, not a Bertha, but still Bangs.

Put a Huge Cannon on the Ferdie. I started with Rapid Fire and High Yield. Hit him with Shields down and it did a LOT of internal. Next tried Overcharge with High Yield. Was about the same but more hull to go with it.

Kharma hit me with a Huge PA with the Bleed through. He was taking 2-3% with shields up. Then he hit me shields down. First time was 92 to 50% then 100 to 57%. So he would have killed me in 2 shots.

I would have done the same to him, difference was, I was using Gimbal and he was using Fixed. Oh and that was with Lightweight Armour.

Been playing around with an all-multi-cannon FGS, spent the day RNGineering it (a combination of rapid fire, over-charge, and study mount due to material availability). It needs the SLF to bring down the targets shields, but once that is done then there's something perversely pleasurable about opening up with 7 multi-cannons. Not a massively practical arrangement, but fun none the less.

Unfortunately due to a slight miscalculation with targets whilst in a pack of system authority Anacondas I'm now training a new a NPC pilot (ah poor Maiya, you were a brave and faithful companion).

This was in live, tried it out in Beta first, found it fun, went over to live.

I'm starting to love the FGS. I only bought it as an upgrade from the Keelback for the SLF. G3 Dirty Drive's make it a lot less frustrating in the handling stakes but I think that just knowing G5 exists, Imma have to do that at some point!

Do you find that the C3 Multi is a bit reluctant to get going unless you are properly lines up with the target?

The C3s have a long spin up time, they don't start firing until they are rotating at full speed, the 1s and 2s get to full speed quickly, and the 4s don't spin.
