I approach the planetary bases from a low altitude, horizontally from assigned landing pad. I slow to a craw about 2.5km away and watch for the skimmer rain. Once they are on the ground i proceed in to land. Very easy to do and I've never been hit by one

Currently beta-testing EDDI 2.4.0-b2 and preparing for the inevitable engineer grind that will come with 2.4 by stocking up on materials and data from the Thargoid and Guardian sites. Fortunately, you can get the pattern X obelisk data without the ancient goodies or signing up for the Ram Tah mission.

Bounty hunting in Exioce to help with the OOM expansion plans. The FDL and Conda have had the "final" engineering touches applied, and are now being put through their paces. After, might swing by Quince before 2.4 drops, just to make sure everything is OK over there....

A little bummed that the Author of ED Engineer is no longer in the game. Been wondering what is going to happen to that app now. Also looking for a replacement. Heard there was a plugin to ED Market Connector that works with Inara, so may have to look at that one.

Due to an enforced absence because of a bad back, I hadn't been on too much but now that I'm ok, I find I am a little less motivated to play. I've done a bit for the Order but think I'm in a holding pattern for 2.4 to be honest...

I am assuming your speaking in Programming speak, otherwise, you're telling to to wank. Unfortunately, I have no clue how/what any of that means, as I would suspect that the vast majority have no clue either.

To quote a wise man: "It ain't like dusting crops, kid." So maybe the lesson is to not rely on these things too much.
