Running a lot of trade routes now that I got an Adder with upgraded bays. Was doing a lot of bounty hunting in my freewinder for a while, even managed to score enough rep to get rank missions from the feds. BUT..They only want me to get Non-lethal weapons, combat stabilizers, and personal weapons. All of which are out of my jump range until I get an upgraded fsd(nevermind the fact that it's still 15 jumps to the nearest seller, not the cheapest, and each time the mission is offered I only have 25 minutes). No rank for this guy yet

I just upgraded to an Asp, a day or two early thanks to commie's trading tips. I think I'll do some more trading, but I feel nervous flying in & out of stations w/o shields. Soon, I'll get kitted for exploring and self-defense. Might as well, as I'm already 100LY from anywhere.

I knew I must of lost some creds....Because I remembered the minute I hit the confirm button I had been told before to sell everything first then sell the ship......

I only just realized that my Firefox has been eating embedded Youtube videos lately, so I wasn't able to see any of the videos posted on this forum until I switched to Chrome! Augh! What I've been missing!

Great work with that dropship! Those things can be nasty buggers. Couple of close fly-by's, glad you didn't get rammed. Also heartwarming to see NPCs actually chipping in to help at the end instead of glitching out and coming after you!

I was fighting an Imperial Clipper last night at a nav beacon, took out his shields while mine were still recharging and ended up smashing into him. I was instantly vaporized and lost 50k in bounty vouchers... was a little miffed until I docked and found that I'd been awarded 20k for the Clipper! So apparently my reckless kamikaze act must have taken him out a second after I went down. That helped pad my losses so most of the ship rebuild cost was covered. Was a pleasant surprise.

Got my first NPC kill as I have only really been trading before now.
Not died yet since release.

I'm thinking to pick that mission too but don't have much experience in fighting.
Not sure how much it impacts my Fed standing if I fail.

Currently doing a trading loop with a Type 6 in Federation space and relaxing.
I just enjoy piloting a space ship and landing on stations in this game a lot.
Even the Type 6 space bus though it flies like an elephant.
The sound and the thruster animation when it decelerates is sooo cool !

Got a Viper yesterday but only use it for short haul trading missions mostly for Fed corporations.
Got friends with two of them, curious to see if I can have any effect on the local politics.
The main faction on this station has 77% influence and is in the process of "expansion " but they do not seem to progress at all.

I am targeting an Asp but still have about 4,5 mil Cr to go...
When this is funded I'll take a more opportunistic side career.
