Nice. I always get nervous flying mine between rocks. I did well with a miningconda, but realized I still wasn't making as much money as trading.

It's OK as long as you're frugal with the boost button.

I'm only doing mining so I can say I've done it. It makes trading feel interesting.

Ah yes... Lori, with you and I permanently talking in Kharma's ear, it inhibited his ability to drink sufficiently to enable him to hone his combat skills.. (Although 3 or 4 against one seemed to be a little one sided )

Oh, I got in on all those from prior efforts, just nothing since the weekend when I grinded on them. Now I just need to collect.

After 2 combat runs for no money, I finally figured out I had to join a faction when I entered the combat, not just go to the station and sign up. Sigh ... too many things in this game not documented, not even just with a little text for the first time.

Yeah. That catches a lot of new commanders out. Combat zone CGs work like normal combat zone fighting. You have to select the faction you are fighting for when you enter the combat zone. Luckily I found this out on my 3rd week when I tried one.

Now still scanning the outer edge of the Galaxy. Trying to aim for the star that seems the furthest from the edge of the galactic arm. 18k ly from Azrael another 5k ly to go. Don't think I'll be back to enjoy the cooking recipes of the tinkerers for a few weeks after 2.1 drops.

Hopefully I can either find Raxxal or the secret of the Formidine Rift (they might be the same thing.)
