Been scanned by bounty hunters......

I was pirated earlier.....landed and deployed into the SRV......

Pirate did not attack landed ship or SRV.......

I attacked him from SRV and became wanted......

Drove 28Km back to base......Recalled ship and promptly got scanned and nearly blown to fuck by sys auth......

So now just waiting for a punch up.......

Oh and Dawgs name is now shit in my house........Wife found me asleep in chair at 03:30 this morning.....

Mind you we put the world the rights last night.....

Does selling exploration data affect the influence of the faction controlling the station, or only my own reputation ?

I was told that this does help the faction that gets the data, and that the highest effect is to sell one system at a time and not one page.
So I have been selling most of my data to Mobius.

It does, but only to a certain point. There is a maximum amount you can sell per day; if you see more, you still get the money and the explorer ranking promotion, but no more faction effects. I have heard figures from 1 million to 10 million credits per day, this might depend on the size of the system.
