Good Morning,

I just went into the Frontier Forum and looked at the discussion on Storage. I noticed that you can VOTE for Storage now.

Here's the link:

but to be clear it's not an FD poll, it's a CMDR looking to understand the desire. It's an overwelming result in favour of storage but does not mean it will make any difference to FD's plans.

Classic behaviour for the FD forum.

Have an opinion.
Form it into a very leading question, then post it as a poll.
Think there was a time practically all the threads started was a poll, and they temporiraly locked the feature.

Granted this one is a no brainer.

I see no point in it honestly, until FD says one way or another about the exact feature it's moot. I know they mentioned it, but it could come out 6 months from now.

Not exactly a leading question, but I do want storage, both modules (especially engineered ones for trading between ships) and cargo. :)

It could be an easy one.

Let us move stuff between our active ship and an inactive one.
Fd could then release a "special ship" that can't be flown anywhere, could add a limit of one or two per account or make it a credit sink by doubling the cost for each one.
So first one 5 mil, second 10 mil, and third time 20 mil

A semi-related question:

Is the problem that sometimes the alchemists need commodities and you need to fly around with those, while searching for other materials and data requirements, and this attracts pirates and interdictions?

If so, can't you put the module upgrade on lay-away? That is, make a partial payment ahead of time, dropping off the commodities with the alchemist (rather than putting them in storage)? Then you can continue to search for materials and data w/o getting hassled. This may be a simple/realistic fix for storage.

I'd still like to store modded modules.

It's been a couple of weeks.. and no storage yet. But look at the forum post. Only 578 votes so far. That's not good at all.

Participate and show your voice.

Once again.. the link to the Frontier Forum Storage Posting:

That's because these polls and posts on the fd forum has about as much effect as a butterfly wing can influence the weather.

An excellent suggestion - we can already store ships in various places with whatever we have on them.. surely it can't be any more difficult to create and maintain what was mentioned above..?
