I log on, head to a system to pick up conductive fiber, check my credits.....I am 17 mil richer and I have no idea why.

Oh nooooooo .... I've been killed under dubious reasons twice last week. First time, I did rebuy and the second time well...
I was escaping after some fight that went bad and had like few seconds oxygen left trying to do emergency dock and save myself a rebuy.
Got interdicted right before I was in range of the dock. With only 30 secs oxygen left, and pretty banged up already; I decided to quit the game and not look back.
Well until now, with the new patches and all. Technically... I've not died yet, and I'm not at the rebuy screen until I start the game up again. Might be i'm still with 30 secs oxygen left somewhere too far out of the star dock and die anyway. lol
Just my luck.
