Meta-Alloys

The Farseer engineer requires Meta-Alloys for us to be able to talk to them.

It seems that the barnacle sites dosen't spawn them atm.

Some people thinks its a bug, I think that we have to look somewhere else.

I think I will look for them in nearby wrecks, nearby systems, space wrecks. There is also reports that some barnacles is protected by turrets ect, but they don't drop meta-alloys, just normal materials (maybe there is a random chance that they do).

Have any of you seen them?

You can buy meta-alloys at the ground base below Obsidian Orbital at Maia.

Indeed you can was there yesterday although I think it is a limited time offer. It's also mentioned on the launcher. You are limited to a maximum of 9 I think and they cost over 100000 credits per ton.
Farseer only needed 1 ton for the introduction.
2 of the other engineers required cash/bounty donations and the forth wants relics.

Yeah. I ended up buying them too.. They will probably remove that option when they fix the barnacles, which will probably come in a hotfix within the next couple of days I think.

Acording to MB, Barnacles are NOT broken. The ones that produce are rare, and can only do so for so long.... Another source must be found.

The bug is that the barnacles that should drop them, the ones with the large glowing green orb, aren't dropping them, and are instead dropping normal metals. That's the bug.
