Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Evening CMDR's! I bet you are wondering why I have gathered you here today. I thought you all might be interested that XBOX is getting an update soon that allows private groups much like the computer version. Now here is why I started this discussion: who will be there to start mobius and will it be connected to this group? I say yes! Everyone in this group has been very nice and helpful to me even though I'm on a different platform. I want to keep this family going and growing in a different expanse. I want to make the mobius glory spread in to the Xbox universe but I want to know how everyone here feels about that. Please, now is the chance to voice you opinions and tell me how you feel. I won't do this until I get the proper approval so cast your votes.

I for one think it's a cool idea as currently there is no Open PvE. Mobius on XBox should uphold the values of Mobius on PC and spread the Mobius love around.

However the group and the name belongs to Mobius. So the boss has the final say.

I agree with CMDR Falcon_d. It's a great idea, but it all depends on whether Mobius agrees.

Does anyone even know if he owns an xbx ?

I have an X-Box I can give him, and Simpson's Hit & Run, Metal Gear Solid, and Medal of Honor.

i think one of the big issues with an xbox group is commitment, whoever took it on is looking at managing the group for the next few years, if not longer. then there is he amount of time needed to run a group, accepting 250 new members a week can take up a lot of time you could have been spending in game. then there is the gatecrasher problem, you can burn a lot of hours of a weekend if some group decides to play silly buggers and start killing other cmdrs.

I'd advise anyone who wants to offer their services to do some thinking first, have you got the time? are you willing to commit the time for the next few years? can you put up with the hassle? or the flak when you're asleep so cant remove a gatecrasher right away?

I'm honestly not trying to put anyone off, but its only fair to let you know what you would be letting yourself in for.

I did repost this thread on the FB page to anyone I noticed that expressed interest, but being facebook, it speeds past like a Viper3 with a dirty engine tune and things get lost

I'd say at the moment its not a question of when, more a question of who.

I will gladly set up, pay for, and help operate the Gamertag and account for Mobius X to be a thing. I will keep the account and active gold member snd will check it a minimum of once per day to keep things going smooth. I will be more than happy to share it with anyone else as needed.

would active gold be a requirement to host the group?
