I use this - which has a throttle too, and at £29.99 is not much more cash.

not sure what the conversion to $$$ is tho.

This was my first stick on ED but I could never configure the throttle properly so I bought the thrust master. I keep this stick as my spare just in case the thrust master breaks!

That is a little over $43 US so the Logitech is on sale for about half the price and it is probably a better stick but some people dislike the built in throttle. Personally I use this for everything that I don't have bound to the stick or voice attack. If I didn't have the G13 I would probably just use my keyboard.

I have this stick and throttle is horrible and will not set up correctly for me (but only in ED works with other sims)
I have one and just ordered the Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Joysticks, I hope this will be a step up.

I love this stick and never had a problem with it (once the bindings were set up correctly, which can be difficult, and I still think I only understand about 75% of what can be done, with overrides and what not). Anyway, I was considering getting a backup, but after a year it is still going strong and I play a lot less. As long as they don't discontinue it w/o notice, I think I'll just wait. My existing one may outlast me.
