Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Very annoyed. Took the trip to Bernard's loop and, as I guessed, it was pretty much entirely picked-over. I found 4 planets in 2 systems that were never registered but that was it. I was delighted to hit an untouched system on the way back though and did some short jumps from there and found two more. Nothing special but three whole unexplored systems. I got back and turned them in and--nothing. Didn't get credit for any of it.

Now, it's possible that someone else turned them in before I got back (a half hour later) but why then did the loose planets (discovered hundreds of lightyears away) not show up either. I find that to be too much of a coincidence to buy. I got screwed... LAME.

They didn't show up when you were trying to sell your data or were you not given credit for 1st discoverer when selling the data?

Didn't get first discovery credit. I don't know if they failed to register as scanned at all because it was several pages of data and I didn't look at every item. I always have gotten a pop-up window when I made the first discovery on previous trips. Just a glitch I guess. No biggie, there was nothing stunning in those systems, but still disapointing.

I believe, and I could well be wrong here, that the 'first discovered' flag on the system map is only updated during the weekly server maintenance, so the gap is longer than the half hour you stated, someone else could have gotten the discovery any time since the last maintenance and it wouldn't have shown yet on the system map.

I've discovered new systems on four previous trips and it was always acknowledged right away when I turned them in.

Yer, always shows up when you go to a station and registers straight off. Might be worth filing a bug report if you know the system names?
