Intersteller voyage in supercruise?

A few star systems are very close together; I've noted a few barely over a lightyear apart. Has anyone tried to go from one to another using nothing but supercruise? Just have fast will a ship go if allowed to keep accelerating?

Not possible. The Jump is a loading screen to let the data load for the next system. you can supercruise for a year and never get there.

To clarify - you'll get to the coordinates but there will be nothing there.

I believe acceleration caps out at around 850 C, if you are curious about trying a long cruise I recommend Alpha Centauri, there is an outpost at the secondary star called Hutton Orbital 0.22 LY from entry point aprox 7 million Ls and just cruising there will take about 90 minutes.
Also make sure you have fuel for it,for example if a stock sidewinder jumps into Alpha Centauri and heads towards Hutton, it will not make it.

Two things:
I thought I read a long time ago that someone tried traveling between stars and it worked, but it opened up a new instance at some point.
I also thought I just recently read about the 2000C club. I'm pretty sure I've gone 1100 or 1200 before, but it was a long time ago.

I think they capped it at around 1.2 but I'm not sure. I might just be plain wrong too

I could throw a hauler or something together and see. Got nothing better to do anyways.

Tossed and extra 8t tank on an eagle and headed off. And already say I was wrong about 850.
Currently doing 920C and still accelerating.

1200C and still accelerating at about 1C every two seconds.

You sir, are boring

Did it anyways, and sure 2001 is the top speed (well, just going so fast is an odyssey in its own)
