Huh, neat.

This was apparently from 2009, and the last paragraph quotes DB as saying "Elite 4 will be on this generation of technology, but we're not announcing it yet."

I recently purchased the new iteration myself not so long ago and I had it on my tv screen when my mother came over and recognised the name. She said that my father used to play the original all the time Great read though, thanks for sharing

I was not around when the original elite was created but this was a good read yo learn how amazing this game would have been in its day.
