Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi, all. New here. Please instruct where to post this sort of thing. I was interdicted, attacked and destroyed by Mobius member [name removed] yesterday. I have no footage, etc. but believe I was attacked illegitimately. What to do?

Was it definitely a Mobius member? There are NPCs in the game that will indict and kill you - I had it happen to me today. If you have no proof I don't think there's anything that can be done.

PS> It's against forum rules to name the attacker publicly; you should PM one of the moderators with that info.

You read the rules, and wait for a mod to take the name out of your post --NO name-and-shame allowed here - and be ready to be VERY apologetic.

Message moderator with proof if you had any. And did the name have CMDR in front of it? Only real players have it in front of their name.

As said above, remove player names and contact mods Good luck rebuilding.

If you aren't sure how to find admins/mods, go to front page of forums, scroll down and click the red adminstrators or forum moderators below "Who is online"

Firstly please do not post names publically, I have edited your post to remove the name, don't worry I have made a copy of it. In these situations you should PM an Admin or Moderator with the details and ideally visual evidence.

Now to the point at hand, a couple questions - are you sure it was a Commander as distinguished by a hollow radar blip and CMDR in front of their name, also where you definitely playing in Mobius at the time.

I ask because we've had many reports, which when investigated turned out to either be an NPC or the player was in open.

I see from your post that you have no footage of the incident, in this case we'll make a note of the Commander and see if there are any other reports.

It is always best to get some form of visual evidence, otherwise it's just one persons word against another.

I just hope it was an NPC or they mistook you for one and not someone knowingly preying on others in the group.

Thanks, all. And thanks for your patience as I learn the ropes and group rules, policies, practices, etiquette, etc. I do not specifically recall whether or not CMDR was before the user name - so yes, it very well could have been an NPC.

That is "THE" thing to look for at the moment.......

Hollow and filled squares can sometimes not work the way they are supposed to.....

So always look for that.....
