End of Fehu Asp Runs

Seems like 2.0 has fixed bulletin board reset bug and increased the cargo units for long range cargo deliveries to the point that, short of selling as you take missions and rebuying at the other end (which increases the time taken by quite a bit), it is no longer worth doing the Fehu runs in an Asp.

Even the smuggling missions are for like 50 to 100 tons a go, although they pay quite decent money (2 to 4 million). These have relatively short timers (an hour, or so) though. Big problem with these though is that a ship scan fails all smuggling missions.

Indeed, and it was known beforehand that the Horizons/1.5 release would nerf those badly. I gave up too, my ASP is gathering dust now, I use my Vulture to waste the usual pirates and soon I'll be upgrading to a FAS. Heck, I think I'll even checkout mining, never did it :D

For me those would be worthy runs once in awhile as they are more than my normal runs. I may have to try one.

I tried a test run from Fehu with one of the shadow missions worth 3 million to an outpost, and no matter what I tried on landing I got scanned. No sure if I'm missing something, but someone recommended me using chaff which I'll try next time. With the nerfing, to be honest trading will earn me more in less time.

I heard chaff no longer prevented a scan after 1.4 so doubt it.

I have so far pretty much stripped off my asp except the FSD, figure I could keep in the stable just in case.

Silent running combined with heat sinks and I still got scanned and failed the run. :x

I shut everythign down except the thrusters and sensors hit silent running and have made it.. but one thing I've seen is I got nailed once after I landed at an outpost.. I was scanned As I opened "Station Services" to avoid getting scanned had to go into the hanger..
