Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I was at the Kaushpoos CG Haz Res and mistakenly shot at him but stopped once I realized my mistake in horror...

One of my wingmate also shot at him, so there was a bit of group effect and inexperience from my part (usually playing solo...).

I know it's no excuses and again, if you read this, I deeply apologize.

um btw do you get fines/bounty on your head if you shoot another commander?

Fines and bounties with players work the same way they do with NPC's. If you fire on an unwanted target you will receive a fine for Assault, if you blow them up you will receive a murder charge.

Luckily, as long as radar reads correctly, there is only one circumstance in which you would ever fire on another commander while playing in the Mobius group.

I did not check the CMDR in the name, was just pumped up with adrenaline
But I stopped before CMDR Benevolent was killed (hull at 60% I think), so I assume he got away safely.

I've been jumping into Solo just to avoid this kind of thing & to avoid kill stealing in Kaushpoos with the active CG there. The hazardous RES was just perfect chaos this evening. Only a lawless system RES is more fun, cos in those every one is a pirate.

I was part of the Wing and ~2km away when that unfortunate incident happened.

I was aware that the rest of the Wing was locked on a CMDR all the time.
He was displayed Hostile to the Wing probably due to hitting one of the Wing members with stray fire since a few Minutes.
Seen that alot in the Kaushpoos HazRES and it happens easily :/

I guess that contributed to the incident...
By the time I could hammer the CeaseFire! line into the Wing comms, the damage was already done

(personally I always try to deconflict from other Wings or Groups of Players in those busy HazRES if possible - since I'm running a 3x PA equipped FdL in the Kaushpoos BH CG, I'm used to being very careful before engaging anything)

I admit this happened to me last week (Friday I think), I accidentally shot another Cmdr. Enough to take some shields away nothing too serious. Just left straight away and let the bounty expire.

I must admit I love the fact that when you arrive at Neville Station my sensors are just full of hollow blips. Great to such such an active community, and landing pads full of very big ships with even bigger guns!. But on the downside is the HazRes is so busy that these things happen.
