UA Community Exploration

In patch 1.4 it is confirmed that the UA always points in the same direction. If this turns out to hold true when the main patch gets released I propose that we use the artifact to triangulate a location. If the artifact turns out to be pointing at a particular point then we should have a mass exploration of that point carrying enough guns, limpets, and hulls to reach that point in space. If any are interested we have about a week lets get organized and get ready to move.

I'd also like to see a link,
The only encounter i had with one of these was in a SSS, it was floating there in space, when i got close a ton of ships jumped in and attacked me. I got the hell out of there without picking it up so didn't see its orientation.
If it's pointing in one direction then won't we need to take one with us and use it as a guide? dropping it in systems every so often to show the way. , Just heading in the direction it points in the inital system could be anywhere.
Ive read they cause corrosion damage to your modules when in cargo, so i second your plan of enough hulls, and a lot of AFMU's onboard aswell.
Exciting stuff, i want in.

Link to what info? A plan is already being worked out in the TeamSpeak we have most problems worked out any input is greatly appreciated but coming in to the ts will ensure you are part of the conversation in real time.
Ua is indeed an unknown artifact.
