Yep, clear on that one. Which is why it's only worth doing if the discount is greater - it could still be worth a few million to make the effort.

Are all of these permanent or just timed discounts? I know Ray Gateway has been active for ages now. I bought my Python and my Anaconda there. Saved like 30mil

No Idea. I take it Ray Gateway is the name of a station? What system is that in? Do I have it listed already?

Coriolis says my Python should be worth about 170 million, but the game says it is worth about 110 million so buying parts at a discount definitely adds up to large savings on some ships.

Man... I bought and outfitted Red long before I was aware of or had access to any significant discounts.
Now I just don't care enough to do all the reselling and refitting. Maybe if something new comes along and I decide I need some more credits...but really I've nothing to spend them on at the moment, and plenty in the bank.

I looked at that thread, but some of the info is not correct. Went on a Hunt to find my courier 2 nights ago and discovered that the listed places with a courier discount did not have it.

Diaguandri as of a few nights ago still has a 15% discount on everything, from ships to modules. Bought my Anaconda for 124 Mil there, as well as my A6 frameshift drive for 13. They have a shipyard of 15 ships, but I didn't check for a courier.

According to Trade Dangerous database no courier there. One of the many reasons I love Trade Dangerous, I can search the shipyards in stations
Prices are only listed as the default prices though.
