Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I stumbled accross this stream yesterday and was delighted to hear what IAmSp00n (http://www.twitch.tv/iamsp00n) had to say about our group. He seems to be a professional streamer (almost 200.000 followers) covering many games with Elite: Dangerous just being one of them.

This stream is NOT about our group, he just happens to mention he plays in Mobius and has nice things to say about us for a couple of minutes.

I especially loved the part where he explains our elaborate procedure to join the group (at 36:30 in the video) :

All you have to do is just send a request.
You'd be like: "Hey, I wanna join!"
And then they're like: "Cool! Don't be a dick!"
And you're like "Ok!"

He's actually streaming at this very moment. He is currently 10 and 1/2 hours into a 12 hour marathon of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" and just mentioned he might play a little Elite: Dangerous just after.

Of course I insta-followed him to thank him for his kind words.

I just tried watching that bit of the video you linked but there doesn't seem to be any sound (my vlume is turned up and the video isn't muted - there was an advert that played before it and that had sound) .

I think you are right. I t looks like twitch has problems with linking to a special point in time directly... I just used the right click menu... strange.

Very cool info here: I just had little chat with IamSpoon and he is going with Frontier to E3 together with BadNewsBaron.
Those are 2 pro streamers, not specialised on Elite: Dangerous.

I don't know about the Baron, but Spoon is a member and he highly recommends our group to newcomers and usually plays in it. Really chuffed!

Yeah Spoon is cool. I used to watch him back when he streamed minecraft alot. Then I kinda quit watching streams for a bit and saw him streaming Elite. He mentioned this group and talked about it being PVE and open to join so here I am! Sadly I feel like i'm in solo so far. I was around the Eravate area until a few hours ago and didn't see anybody. Hoping to find people now that around Sol.

If you want to help out the instancing of Elite: Dangerous go add some commanders from the in-game friend list in the members section of these forums and add yourself to it.
