New Ship Building Site

I know a lot of us use good old edshipyard for our loadout specs etc...

There's a new one posted in the frontier forums .... its cleaner and simpler i think and is just in its 1.0 state...

You can export your ships in a simple json format and later import them back in as well as use the perma-links etc.

I was just checking that out from the makers Reddit Post. I like it. It needs a few things but overall its good to have choices and is really well done.

These sites are about to get even more important as the introduction of the 10% sell-back cost for modules in 1.3 is going to be costly for experimentation in outfitting!

I like it. Not sure but I think the Vulture fitting page is missing a Size 4 slot, pretty sure that ship has 2.

Hi,

The site is correct. Vulture has 1 C5, 1 C4, 1 C2 and 2 C1 slots.

Still wondering about the best no-ammo weaponary on Vulture. Now 2 x C3 Gimballed Bursts, but weapons battery drain too fast, but this belongs to another thread :)

You're right, my mistake. Been playing a lot with my FDL and kept getting a mental picture of my two A4 Shield boosters...

Gimballed large pulses.

With a maxed out power plant and distributor, 4pips to weps and 2pips to shields, it can take down shields on the toughest 'conda before running out of power, then with the power plant targeted, a five or six second wait to recharge the weps means the target is destroyed before the wep charge hits zero.

You'll need to have a shield cell module for the rare occasions that the 'conda has all turreted beams...

Off-topic for this thread, but I found that Gimballed Pulse + Gimballed Burst with same fire group do the job fast. And I don't have same power issues while 2x gimballed bursts

Pulse laser bounding the ship constantly and the Burst will pop it out. :)
