Guys, OK, the game has some dedicated GJs (galaxy jocks) but me, I could only stand about 30 seconds of radio sidewinder.

For those who still appreciate the true genius of 20th/21st Century Progressive Rock, there is nothing finer as a counterpoint to the song of your thrusters and FSD than

www.morow.com

24/7 prog with no lame DJs & NO FEKKING LAME-ASS ADS!

Try it, your ears will love you forever ;)

I tried listening to Hutton Orbital during the Hutton Mug CG, but it was just too much country music for me to handle.

What made that worse is that Steam pays attention to my throttle imput. If I don't put it to 50%, it scrolls all over the place. While going to Hutton, I couldn't throttle down to 50% to go into the overlay... I couldn't lose the speed. So I was stuck with twangy pop music.

Radio Sidewinder plays much better music about 70% of the time, though the real commercials, fake commercials, and fake PSAs are WAY too repetitive. (The GalNet news updates are kind of cool though.... until they start getting repetitive and a few days old themselves.) I would have switched to just listening to Pandora again, but it tends to crash Steam when I run it in the browser from the overlay in Big Picture Mode.

The country music on Hutton Orbital Radio was for the Space Trucking Hour. They have a good amount of mix for me, and I thought the Trucking Hour was a blast. They have some great commercials too.

Don't get me wrong, I love Radio Sidewinder for the Ads and the Galnet updates, but the music is really repetitive. And the Galnet stuff tends to lag behind a lot.

Good to know. I appreciated the Smokey and the bandit theme, but the rest was grating.

And yeah, sidewinder lags by about 4 days on the news.
