Own more than one ship?

I've got a few, but have to add I usually end up regretting selling just about every ship I have had.

My current stable of ponies:

Anaconda - trade configuration "The Truck"

Fer de Lance - heavy shields/heavy weapons "Jedi"

ASP - exploration/fighter hybrid

Hauler - exploration config - "The Little Bus" in the yellow paint job

Eagle - PVP config

I just sold off everything to get the FDL, slowly rebuilding my empire:

- FDL (Almost A fitted, love the cannon)
- Viper (Like the beam/multi cannon setup)
- Hauler (Stripped down, 30LY jump distance)

I'll be replacing my old Vulture and getting a Cobra or two, besides that I'm waiting to see the new ships. I also had a trade Asp I may replace at some point too, though trading wasn't something I liked to do much of.

Did have Python, full A-spec and Asp also full A-spec.
Sold both and bought Anaconda, after the Diso CG was able to rebuy a discounted Python and now both ships are B spec with a scattering of A-spec gear. Gradually refitting them as I earn the money back again.

Elmyra - First bought Sidewinder kitted for in civ exploration and combat
Priscilla - Cobra kitted for mining
Lulu - Cobra kitted for in civ exploration and combat
Rikku - Eagle kitted for combat
Quistis - Type 6 kitted for trade
Beatrix - My little galaxy roaming Hauler Fully decked for exploration. I love her

Once I bought a ship and give it a name I cannot seem to bring myself to sell it so i suspect this list will contain many, many more

Fly safe commanders. We don't wanna be losing our favourite ships now

I have 2 ships, a Cobra and a Vulture. The Cobra will be sold after I return from the California Nebula. I always wanted to see a fancy Nebula from within that was not pitch black. Dooon't tell me this sounds stupid, I know it alright?

Sold my Vulture after the CG in Quivira died down, now it's just Red and me, which suits me just fine. I may re-construct another vulture here, soon...but I have gotten kind've used to it being just the two of us...

...Red might get jealous?

For those with multiple ships, is there a way in-game to remind you where your ships are based? I'm about to buy my first ship (not sure what yet!) but I'll probably lose it if I swap around often!

Once you've bought your second (or third, or seventh...) ship, a marker will pop up on your Galaxy Map indicating which systems all of your ships are stored in.

That's why some folks buy a cheap Sidewinder as a "bookmark" for systems of interest.

• Vulture - The Valkyrie - Chooser of the Slain. For bounty hunting.
• Type 7 - The Burrito - well, what else does it looks like? For heavy trading.
