Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Today i testet the Open Mode with a Little Ship (Hauler) with 1 Cargo of Robotics (T-800 ). Normal i Play in Mobius Group.

So, my First Contact:

> Interdicted me
> Sayed "Hi" to him - No Answer
> Second Ship dropped in
> Sayed "Uh a Friend, Hi to you" - No Answer
> Sayed "Want Cargo?" - No Answer
> First One Rammed me - Shields Down - 60% Hull
> Try so Ask "Bo Cargo? So Why y......"
> Second Rammed me
> Dead

So yes its Good we have Open - Private - Solo Mode.

- Solo Mode = Don`t know a bit Boring
- Private = Community Activity, Chat Active (9/10 Answer), Friendly, Helping each other.
- Open = No Chat (Tryed to Chat to other CMDR`s only 1 of 20 Answer), Psychopatic Rammer/killer, Laggs (Jumping Ships, Jumping Position etc...)

So yes my First Test is my Last Test in Open. Stay in private

Just a thought if you ever (or anyone else for that matter) want to try that again:

Post here or PM me on the Elite Forums. I would be more than happy to be a "hidden" escort. I am far from the best combat pilot but surprise can be half the battle.

That was only a Test My Garage has a Multi-Role Anaconda (Trade, Escort [26ly Range empty] and CZ Fight) and a Vulture for RES Hunting (Anaconda is not so good in a Asteroid Field). The Hauler Ship was only a Test Ship. I expected to Die in Open so the Rebuy Cost was only 23k

But yes if you Play Open its better you have a "Hidden" Partner for Suprise Pirates or Psychopatics. Even the Rammer that killed me was in a 2 Wing.

I bet that 1 out of 10 that didnt answer didnt even see your chat. I wouldnt be one bit surprised if I didnt talk to someone because I didnt even notice it. If I dont talk to any of you,its not because I am antisocial but more like im blind as a bat at times when Im busy. I need like a phone call to get my attention.

They need a more pronounced method of notifying you about incoming chat messages. I never miss a comms call...
