Any east coast USA CMDR?

Hopefully FD releases a feature that shows 'group members' on the Gal map in a future update, but until then you have to add them as friends manually.

It would be nice to have that on the map, but you can get some information from the game now.

From the main menu, select "Friends and Private Groups", then "Groups", then "Mobius". From there you can see which group members are online. It takes a few seconds to load up because we have over 9K members right now.

This can at least let you know which of us are online during the same off-hours you play. You can directly send friend requests from there.

I just looked now (roughly 1300 USA eastern time) and there are probably a few hundred people playing. Many of those are in Europe, since it is 1700 GMT on a Saturday. If I wait until very late tonight (I am usually playing around midnight USA eastern), almost everyone listed will be US-based.


I've sent a few friend requests, and have accepted a bunch, but I spend most of my time off exploring and have rarely seen another commander. I'll say "hi" if I see you, though.

I am, PillDoc98. Just joined the site, been lurking for awhile though. Lots of good info on this site, helped me get off to a good start. Only been playing for about 200 hours, at least I think around there, but have made over 16 mill in the game. Have a fully kitted out viper and an almost maxed out cobra mkiii. I usually play 10-11PM EST most nights. I just love blowing conda's up. If needing a wingman or just wanting to fly together look me up, I have a private group already set up also and be glad to send anyone an invite to it.
