Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Found this on the official forum and thought that was worth mentioning here, as it's pretty amazing. It's an animation showing, in realtime, the journey of a photon emitted from the sun and travelling across a part of the solar system. Really puts things into perspective!

Is it just me? I find that very depressing.

It really shows how insignificant we are, but personally I don't find this depressing.

Actually, I think that if was shown to every children in the world, Earth would probably become a better place. But maybe it's just me.

Those are freaking awesome. I cheated & downloaded the video. At 45 minutes it is long, but I think it would take 6-7 hours to reach Pluto! I never knew there was an earthworm larger than a human. What kind of fish do you catch with those?

I totally agree with you. I've always thought that if humans were able to really apprehend the scale of the universe they would be wiser.
