Are we going to find other inhabited world's the further we explore. New races etc. I would get bored on my own that far out. Wanna go full star trek

Yea tbh, Exploration needs "something" to make it more interactive or appealing. Maybe once planetary landings hit live servers we get distant species with their own weird missions. Maybe even species that are not warp-drive capable so we get extra points for not exposing us to them like ST usually tries to do - but generally fails

Nothing like that ATM. And its certainly not profitable. You could probably make in an hour of bh/trading what you would get in 20 hours of exploring.

An exploration build doesn't even have guns, and only reason to bring shields is for taking screenshots in dark belts

I played ever a few years back, played on and off for 2-3 years. In game name was Siatic, did mostly PvE and mining. On occasion I'd do some PvP in low/null sec but generally stayed in high sec. I stopped playing after I realized I spent most of my play time chatting with people in my corporation while I spun around at a station. I can vividly remember how much I wished the combat was like Elite, and how much I wanted a game like Elite to release.

I played for 6 yrs in a wormhole corp I haven't played since elite came out in dec.
i'm on elite most every day mining, running missions or bounty hunting.
working on getting the last rank from the feds.
