Communication?

Hello all
Fairly new here but I've been frequenting the board daily. I'm wondering about communication...
I see PC members being added fairly regularly to the membership but much less so on the console side.
I'm assuming it's because there are far fewer players applying to join from the console side? I also assume that because of that, the posts welcoming new members from the console side are far less frequent then.
I ask because I had a buddy apply two weeks ago and he's still not had any word as of yet.
