Still actively working on Mobius, but when doing missions I saw these other conflicts.

Seems things are starting to simmer in the Empire, is everyone preparing for the vacancy when the Emperor dies? Certainly seems that way.

Currently Docked in Mobius Platform.

Whatever we are doing seems to be working, slowly but surely, they are on the brink of Civil War, then we can kick them out for good :D

Yes, the Revolutionary's influence on Mobius Platform was down to 7.4%, yesterday evening.

Just a beginner's question: Would it make sense to relocate my ship to that general area to gain imperial rep, equipment and practice first, and join you later? Or are the serpent's conflict zones about to move big distances away right after this incident is complete?

To be honest, I am not sure how the Wing mechanic is going to work, until we get more info on it I don't know whether we al have to be in the same System or if there is a Portal mechanism or something.

It would make sense however to get into Empire territory to gain Rank and Rep. The Mobius campaign is just an exercise to see if we can sway the power that holds the Station, the proper Wing work wil hopefully be Escort missions, Pirate Hunts, Warzones, and maybe even the odd discreet elimination task. :D

Thanks for the answer! One last question, though: Any recommendation on the imperial system(s) where the BS should hang around in the future (as far as one can tell now) so that I can relocate to an imperial area not too far away from the action?

I would head for Azrael first, then you will get to see the Mobius Rafferty station in all it's glory, there is also a Black Market in that System so it is handy for cashing in on the Bonuses you may find while doing Missions etc, then when you are ready, and have recieved your Permit, head towards Achenar, the home of the Empire. If you look on the Galaxy Map it is pretty much all Red. Good place to be in when ranking up, though I seem to have stalled at Baron at the moment, may need to take a trip out to some of the other Systems to see if I can pick up any Ranking Missions.

Whoa, finally arrived at Mobius Rafferty station! And boy, what a journey. I parked my free sidewinder with its mining equipment in LHS 3447 (and probably won't see her again, up until, if ever, a ship transfer feature is implemented). reminded me instantly of my first take-off with the freagle where I very nearly crashed into the inner station halls – well, I did a good deal of scraping, might even have got a fed bounty on my head for "loitering" during the process; hell what a beautifully energetic bird that is.

Of course it was quite a hopping for my little freagle to come to Mobius Rafferty. When entering the near-void at the border of the Federation (coming from LHS 3447), I almost got stranded – even though I knew of the fuel problem, I could just jump back two systems instead of doing a final, emptying jump into just as empty space, and refuel. By the way, I can highly recommend to stop by Zhen dock, they have an excellent choice of hi-tech parts to sell; a good possibility to upgrade both energy diverter and generator for my freagle and some smaller stuff. So the backjump wasn't all that bad (albeit stupid).

Then it was mostly jumping on and on, the freagle fluttering eagerly to cross the vast distances to Azrael. Twice escaped interdictions easily, once got interdicted at the border of Imperial space with the blue column being nearly on top and then suddenly collapsing to nothing, but the interdictor seemed to just have lost interest when he only saw an annoyed freagle popping out of frame shift with no cargo but a pair of claws.
But what a difference is Mobius Rafferty compared to you basic Federation Coriolis! Looks great indeed. Well, nice place to make a nest in I assume. The bird can ruffle its wings a bit now.

Now I will look around for some reputation gaining with the Imperium and replenishing my money stock which got down to 16 k by upgrading and fuelling (I am not much of a money-maker I fear). Oh and practice fighting of course. We want to bring some light upon the troublemakers, do we, and might it be the swift and deadly light of laser beams.

Oh one question, any ongoing thoughts on a Blood Serpent red paint job? Is it agreed to take a red one (whichever)? Would be nice.

See you around!

Mobius Rafferty is indeed a gorgeous station, I still have a Sidey parked up in there.
Yeah I think we will stick with the Red Paint Job, can't wait for Wings to be implemented so we can start in earnest.
