cast your votes concerning the faction we should support! What is your impression, who is most capable to bring glorious glory to the Empire and let it thrive?

As stated before, Patreus for example has the most tempting offer of an Advanced Accelerator but completely lacks style, reeks of federal corruption and power-mongering and seems to be simply an overdressed twerp.
But what about the others? Any experience and opinions?

The big question is: Does anyone have a better beard than Patreus?

I mean I could go with the person with the ideals that suit my own the best, but I'll just be used as a pawn and discarded when of no use any more, so I might as well go for the person with the best facial hair.

Ah. Walter, the Federation has always messed up the difference between casting votes for the best course of action or the most competent ruler and their paper thin "all are equal" argument, which mostly means equal in terms of being bullied by the more powerful, more corrupt or more manipulating "person of the people". When will they learn that people actually don't have to be monodimensional thinkers only because they don't fall for the colourful theatre of the Feds? But sorry, I am just getting off-topic ... this might be something for an own "Free for All Feds-Alliance-Empire Fighting Pit" thread

On topic: A Lavigny-Duval (what a strange first name abbreviation) seems to be a good choice. All her stance against corruption and her combat oriented bonuses, and even the multishot rail gun (whatever that helps) seems fine.

Sounds good to me.

Havent played ED in a while, had some Witcher 3 fun. But once I return from the seaside, Ill give it a go. Arissa looks like a solid choice, she seems to be BH oriented.

I'm waiting until we get a couple of updates before pleding...

I'm in need of finance so at present i'm working at relocating all my ships into Imperial territory (based at Facece - Simpson Depot)
So bringing the fleet here ... then finishing off the 100-stop Imperial Trade route to build up another 35m Cr

Then once we see how 1st couple of cycles progresses and have a couple of balance / fix tweaks then i'll be pledging to Arissa Duval
