Attention Imperial pilots

I was protecting the Imperial interests in Sifjar when I was entrusted by Imperial Navy to deliever sensitive information to Strianji. Upon my arrival I was debriefed and learned about the conflict in the system between Imperial governed Jet industries and some Revolutionary scum for the control of a station. I have been authorised to call upon fellow Imperial pilots and invite them to help protect the people of the station by bringing them into the Imperial rule and save them from the corporate false pretense hidding behind word democracy.
Empire has called you pilots, DO NOT disappoint.

Excellent.
When I was debriefed I learned that the expansion is being launched from Lampade. You'll also find missions related to Strianji there.

The fighting has been called to an end. No clear victor has emerged.
(I really don't understand the background sim, after the missions and combat bonds cashed in, all that happened was both parties went from 8,7% to 8,6% and are no longer at civil war)

I have been struggling to undestand it myself. A few days ago the Revolutionary Sifjar Free were on the verge of Civil War, today they are fine yet their Influence has dropped to 4.1%
I wish FD would make it clearer as to how the whole thing works, just seems very random at the moment.

Right, SG, now I'm really confused.
Weren't you in Strianji trying to stop the Revolutionary Party from taking over from the peaceful empire?
IIRC the democratic RSF is the owner/manager of the Mobius Platform and the 'peaceful' empire is trying to foment a war.
Doesn't that make you the revolutionaries in (to use your own words) 'this treacherous attempt at destabilising this industrious and peaceful system'?
