I just wonder, now we have a forum for both bounty hunters and mercs, how do we tell the difference?
Am I a bounty hunter or am I a merc?

You're a bounty hunter if you hunt wanted ships for the bounties wherever you want, and you're a merc if you take combat missions from various factions and fight in conflict zones to cash the bonds.

Actually, that requires a little correction: you don't even have to take missions, to be a merc. Just enter a conflict zone and pick a side. Missions are a bonus because you get paid for the mission in addition to cashing the bonds. Same if you take missions to kill pirates: you get paid for the mission in addition to cashing the bounties.

If you do both are you a berc?

So if I spend some of my time trading, some of it bounty hunting, and some of it in conflict zones....?
