Conda for hunting ?

Hello Cmdrs,

I wass wondering that is maybe time for me to get an Anaconda to keep on my bounty hunters career... Some days ago I was thinking to wait and get a Fed Corvette with 1.5, but as hunting is going good I want to have a try with the Conda :D before the Corvette..

Is it good for hunting in RES, and upcoming Hazardous RES, this kind of loadout ?

I would be grateful to have some advise from Anaconda owners,

TY,

Fly safe cmdrs

not bad, i use a similar set-up for my Anaconda, mine is mainly focused on CZ's so is a bit more SCB heavy. I've also got chaff and point defence but those are a matter of personal preference. with this set-up i can power 2 SCB at a time and take my shields from one ring to full power with the press of a button.

Wow a lot of SCB, I don`t understand why u did not use a 7 Shield Generator instead of a 5.... you lose a lot of shield that way...

I also use chaff usually but more the hull is big and more chaff are useless, as they can hit you just from 800mt.

Anyway i think for now I will stick with the Python, maybe I will buy a Conda when I can afford the military grade...

Why wait for when you can afford mil-grade?
It's got twice the shields of a python, so you will probably need it even less in the conda, unless it's for pvp then anything after shields are pointless imo (because it costs money to fix it).
I would drop the cannon, just go with gimballed beams in the huge and the large slots,
And stick with pulse laser turrets for the mediums and small mounts.
I have pulses on mine, and with the a8 PDS I can pretty much keep firing til I'm bored or whatever in front of me is dead.

But I upgraded my trade conda a little yesterday and took into the CGCZ's, and quite honestly I was missing my Python. but that just as well be some of the weird bugs I was seeing.

For instance the first time my aft turrets just wouldn't fire at all, the second time around the Mc's was reporting as out of range even if I was at about km of their target, and after a while my starboard bow turret wouldn't stop shooting blindly until I retracted it, but when I deploy again it starts shooting, I had to go into modules and power cycle the gun to make it quit.
Back to trade duty for Lizzy, Donna is actually simply better at combat.

i had to make some power management, but its perfect now... I already had a try in a RES and is awesome :D :D Also when i bought my python coming from a Vulture I had the impression of the so called "flying brick" .. but tbh the Anaconda is not less manuverable of the python, even thought is really slow, but i can pitch the same... i fell like in some case even better.

In any case for RES hunting is an overkill... i can make pretty much the same thing with the python, i suppose Vic is more handy in CZ.

I willl keep the cannon .. only as i utterly love shot at clippers and pythons stuck in the asteroids   I love the sound and the explosion .. I really hope that in future there will be more weapons for huge hardpoints, now let`s start to grind cr and reputation for the Corvette.

I want the class 4 multi cannon....

And the c4 beam laser.
With the upcoming corvette using those slots for C3 pulses would just be sad...

even with C3 pulses you don't get a great deal of firing time before the wep cap is drained.

to outcast-luc, i'd change the turrets for gimbals but that's just my opinion. ymmv.

Tell that to the elite conda's I killed without going below 50% wep cap.
4 pips to weps, and 4 large gimballed, the wep cap just don't drain. Only reason tobstop shooting is heat, and with pulses that takes a while.

To clive I changed to pulse gimballed... that`s better you are right...

just have to make some trials.. for the Huge HP i think i`ll keep that to have fun with the cannons... tbh for what i find now in High RES 3large pulse on the PP blown everything in just some seconds... i dont see the point in 2.7 sec instead of 4... and also I want to have fun, just hoping in a near future to have more options for the HP.
