how to stop prospector limpets?

So I am having a go at mining out a Jaques. How to I kill at prospector limpet so I can launch another one?

Also turning off the limpet controller in modules will destroy all limpets it controlls.
I often do this with collectors when half of them crash so I have a somewhat reliable half life.

Gentlemen... the most difficult aspect with limpets is, naming them all..
