Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hello fellow explorers...
I always wanted to go to Colonia, and I just picked up a bunch of well paying courier missions to Colonia and the surrounding systems, so I thought now is the time !

But I am having trouble with plotting the route.
I fly a Diamondback Explorer, my jump range is 42 LY, I have a 4A fuel scoop, but when I try to plot the route it says "Plot route unavailable - maximum distance exceeded"
Am I missing something ? Do I need any permits ? Do I have to manually just go in the general direction ? Seems like I can pick a random system half way there ...

You have to plot less than 20k ly. A good stopping point in the middle is Rohini just because it's the easiest one to type

Ah thanks, I thought it would be something like that. I was a bit confused because I unchecked the "20ly max" thingy...

Well if you're equipped with an AFMU you could take the Hurt Highway to make the trip shorter. I've never used it before, but I'm currently using it to get back to the bubble. I'm about 11k out now and moving fast.

I decided that after Colonia, I would make a detour to Sagittarius A*, and on the way there, I faced a moral dilemma.
While exploring a planet, I found these on the Way to Sag A:


Now, it was 6 of them, if I picked them up, I would add 6 tons of cargo, which would reduce my jump range by 2 ly and I still had almost 30.000 ly ahead of me...
But on the other hand, I could not just leave them there...

Party to move this useful thread back up to the top - glad I found this as it is what I'm after (and why I was looking here). Shame they do not have some form of collection stamp as you find in Japan.
