Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Well, I've outfitted a Cobra3 for exploration. I get about 26 lys out of it, with extra fuel tank and good scoop. I'm heading out to Chamaeleon Sector AA-Q b5-5, though since I can only play and hour or so a day, it's gonna take a while.

68 jumps to go...man this takes time. I'm just honking with advanced scanner, detailing the star, and moving on. Scooping of course every chance I get. I'll review the route after I'm done and go back to detail scan the rest on the return journey. Hopefully, by the time I make the round trip, I'll have enough creds to upgrade to DBEX and kit it out for some real long distance jumps. That's the plan anyway.

Ummm, if you want cash from exploration to buy a new and better ship.

I'll probably do that route when I'm ready to go for a Conda, thanks. Right now I just want to see if I can make it out that far. I wanted to go to Polaris, but that mystery permit stops me.

don't scan the star unless it's something special taht really makes money like a black hole, white dwarf or neutron star.

when you honk the system, quickly look at the system map. If you see black or very dark planets, or others that look like little blue balls, have a go at scanning them.
Metal rich, heavy metal worlds, earth like worlds and water worlds are extremely good payouts

47 jumps to go. I stopped off at a blue-white star and wandered about. Found a gas giant with rocky rings.

2. You don't need an Anaconda right away. Get an ASP Explorer, it's comparably easy to reach and some of the famous explorers are still flying their AspX. Do a search here, I wrote a post about it somewhere (wis da utube-links).

4. There are some metric tons of info about what bodies are lucrative to scan etc. I found this sweet collection of infographics extremely helpful. It's all in there, from which stars are scoopable to which bodies pay out the most etc. I don't know if everything is kept up to date, though.

Well, I'm back! Turned in my data for 1.8 million. First to discover 3 systems, too. Not too shabby. I'm gonna do some bounty runs to relax, then follow that guide for a few more million creds.
