Does anyone know if one exists where it's a high res top down view with the X and y grid marked into it?

The Edsm map is what I'm thinking but I can't export it in its raw state to retain quality

Yeah recalled reading some article about that, like trying to take a picture of your house from the outside while your inside it.

Yeah, pretty much, but you can find some nice pics if you google ngc 6744.

It's almost facepalm worthy how I, for quite some time really thought that was the milky way..
