Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I'll probably be flying this Cutter unless I change my mind again, about 21-23ly jump range, fully armed and stocked with fuel limpets in case anybody gets in trouble (I might swap those mines for turrets if I remember). I'm ready to switch outfits and head out when everyone else is. I've never been further than Sothis on one side of the bubble and Betelgeuse on the other, so I don't know if I'll stick around for the entire trip. I tend to get bored if I'm doing the same thing for too long in this game, we'll see what happens I suppose.

Things went a little sideways this weekend, so I will need some time to get back to the route.

Also, vacation time is coming starting this weekend, so don't expect much action for the next couple of weeks. Sorry, but RL Recharge is needed. Now, off to buy some camping gear

Besides the Initial Kickoff Meetup, this is a Do It Yourself, Find your own way at your own speed tour. You do what you want how you want. We are not setting other official meetings, but I am sure there will be impromptu ones.

Timing is a Bitch and we are going to have some people that are unable to make the initial launch, and may end up not being able to leave when others do. Sorry, but this is life and shit happens. We are doing this Halfassed, so expect problems.

NOTE: All Times listed are approx and are IN GAME TIME (GMT).

On Saturday August 13th we will have a Kickoff Meeting on Noshaq in Azrael. About 50 km from Searle Point is a Mountain with a nice flat area where we can land and be goofy as we gather for the launch time.

Since we have basically two groups, we will have 2 meeting times depending on if you are in the EU time zones or the USA time zones.

EU TIME ZONE MEETUP: 19:00 GMT AUGUST 13th (Game Time) with a planned leave for 20:00

USA TIME ZONE MEETUP: 03:00 GMT AUGUST 14th (Game Time) with a planned leave for 04:00

This allows for a 6 hour difference for our USA members (and is at 9PM Eastern Time on Saturday for them).

I am looking for a Volunteer for the USA time zone to play host and make sure that the group meets up (you must be able to handle friend requests, wing invites, and making sure people can get into the same instance. If that sounds like a plan, speak up in this thread.

I'm still interested. I haven't been playing for the past few weeks, it's just not fun with the interdictions the way they are currently, so I'm not checking forums and such very frequently.

It'll take me a few days to get things set up, I've installed Discord but need to set up mic levels and such, and I want to install the discovery tracking program thingy for logging my trip. I should be able to get things ready for Saturday with a bit of luck.

I'm still at Jaques. I burned myself out a bit getting here, so I'm taking a short break from the game and next time I play I'll make my way over to wherever you lot are.

I'm not likely to participate, at this time real world issues have my attention diverted elsewhere. At the time it was first planned I honestly wanted to do it. Mid August though is not gaming time over here...
