From the "What are you doing now?" thread, I thought I might as well post it here too:

I'll be armed well enough to at least provide a distraction while someone escapes if we happen to run into pirates. In my head I see us having one last meet up somewhere near the Bubble and then everyone heading back in wings for safety, so I'm happy to bring a couple of unarmed ships home if anyone needs it.

I'm also tossing up whether to bring a couple of auto-repair kits (which would leave me space for 4 buggies instead of 1) or a cargo rack and fuel limpets. I've never properly explored before and have little confidence in my ability to avoid cooking myself accidentally, so if anyone else is planning to bring fuel limpets I'll go for the maintenance kits. Either way my ship is pretty much built already and I'm ready to go whenever.

I personally lean over to bring my conda, fully armed, most likely with beam turrets. It's in a combat configuration now but I will modify it for this trip.

Any updates on a starting date for this? Engineers is too grindy to hold my attention and repeated NPC interdiction and beatings is making leaving the bubble look more and more appealing.

I'm getting the exploration itch, and wanted to bump this thread to see if there is a still a group of folks interested in going on the Zoological Nebula Tour soon.

Absolutely JL. Give me a couple of days to clean up some of the Location information, and map things out. By the end of the weekend I will have a complete list and a Tentative date. Watch this space for more info :P

If you can map it, you could bring a stock Sidewinder. :P Whatever gets you there.

Although I'm out of the bubble ATM, I'm only 500ly or so away so I'll hang around in the general area and head in the right direction when the time comes.

It all depends on the time of the operation. If I am home, if I am on a trip to a city with an acceptable internet connection and unacceptable bars... :)
