A great day in the black, read a neat trick by CMDR Skipp Doe about turning off other star types in the gal map which allowed me to find 3 neutron stars still a long way from the core.

Also found my first undiscovered earth-like which also had a mars-like in the same system.

Just a few jumps to get into the nebula now and the scenery is getting more spectacular.

The CL Pismis 2 system at the center of NGC-6357 is impressive with 6 different star types; O,K,M,L,T,Y.

Will rest up for a while at a nearby system as Pismis feels a little volatile!

Well I couldn't rest after all the recent discoveries so made one more jump and found my first black hole.

Can't see much and this was about as close as I wanted to get to it.

Jumped again to find another one near the Pismis 3 primary star, scanned and maneuvered around to see what a black hole eclipsing an O class star would look like, maybe some light bending around the Schwarzschild radius, but no, nothing so spectacular ... only the singularity which obviously you cant see!

Now it is time to find a safe little planet to shut down at.

Some really pretty planets found on this leg, thought I'd get up close and personal with a couple of them ...

I know you dont get much for scanning the gas giants but they are pretty!

After almost two months in stasis I de-iced the cockpit, fired up FSD and headed for the closest nebula; Blaa Hypia.

Made it to the Floawns nebula at last, well over half way now. Had a bit of a moment with a neutron star, lost most of my heat sinks and took a bit of damage, hull still at 94% though so onwards we go.
