Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

So after taking part in the Hutton CG and making about 12 runs...all those hours sitting watching a number tick down...i think I lost my mind...I set out to go exploring in my Python, even though I have an Asp docked at my temporary home station in Beta-1 Tucanae. Why you may ask? I have no idea. I always wanted to go exploring in a ship other than the Asp but I always talked myself out of it because of the superior jump range. Well now that my mind is weak after the CG it just happened. Went and outfitted it with this loadout and set out into the abyss. Currently I plan on exploring until Horizon launch date has been announced. Then I'll plan out my trip and make my way back so that I will be hitting civilized space right as Horizons launches. Scoop up the SRV and then head back out. Enjoy some pics so far, more to come.

Found some HUGE rings, ships looking at a moon right on the edge of the rings. I'll be returning here to land when Horizons launches.

Nice pics, 3O6! I also participated in the Hutton Mug CG in a Python and want to go on exploration one day in the same ship because I like it. But first I'm waiting for the next CG...

Very nice pics, and not a bad build either, better than most exploration clipper builds I have seen, I would hardly call it insane

@Early Bird - the CG's look kinda interesting this week...kinda wish I was around for them lol.

@TorTorden - I tried so hard to make a clipper exploration build. I just couldn't get the jump range with all the stuff I wanted. The clipper's cockpit view is so OP...it would be amazing for exploring.

What is a CG? Is horizon the next update??

- A CG is short for Community Goal. They are events that pop up weekly for everyone in the game to participate. You earn rewards depending on how much you contribute. Wiki

- Horizons isn't a single update. It is a years worth of updates, that will start this holiday. The next update is 1.4 "Close Quarters Combat". Then 1.5 "Ships". Then the start of the Horizons updates.
